The Story Of Woof land

Meet Our Founder

Magda – The Heart Behind Woof Land

Woof Land was built from love — the kind of love that changes lives. It began not as a business plan, but as a bond between a woman and a dog who needed each other more than either could have imagined.
That dog was Manny, a Doberman labelled “unadoptable.” He came with fear, reactivity, and a history of being misunderstood. But where others saw a problem, Magda saw potential. She didn’t turn away. She leaned in — with patience, understanding, and a determination to help Manny feel safe in a world that had failed him.
What followed was a journey of transformation — not just for Manny, but also for Magda. Through countless hours of training, rebuilding trust, and navigating setbacks with gentleness and resolve, Manny grew into a calm, connected, and deeply loyal companion. He became Magda’s shadow, her soulmate, and ultimately, her greatest teacher.
When Manny passed away suddenly, the grief was overwhelming. But even in loss, he gave her one final gift: a new purpose.
Woof Land was born as a tribute to Manny — and every dog like him, waiting for someone to believe in them. It’s a place built with intention, where training is not just about commands, but about connection. A place where even the most misunderstood dogs are met with patience, compassion, and a chance to become the best version of themselves.
At the heart of our logo is Manny’s paw print — a lasting symbol of the love that started it all. It’s more than a design. It’s a promise: that every dog we meet will be treated with kindness, clarity, and respect.
To honour that promise, Magda committed to lifelong learning. She trained under some of the most respected names in canine behaviour, including Larry Krohn and Ivan Balabanov, whose philosophy “Make a Dog Somebody” reshaped her entire approach. She learned that true behaviour change isn’t just about technique — it’s about helping dogs feel emotionally safe and confident, every step of the way.
Today, Magda brings that philosophy to life through 1:1 behaviour-focused training, structured enrichment walks, and bespoke care. From reactive dogs learning to trust again to confident pups building new skills, every service is delivered with calm leadership, empathy, and professionalism.
At Woof Land, dogs are never just clients. They’re family. And just like Manny, every dog we meet leaves a paw print on our hearts.
Because Woof Land isn’t just built from love —
It’s guided by purpose.
